The New Space Race: Will America Come First?

Join us on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at 4:30 PM at Georgetown Law (Capitol Hill Campus) for a high-level discussion on America’s position in the emerging commercial space market.

This event will explore:

U.S. competitiveness in space innovation

Barriers posed by export controls and tariffs

Global perspectives and case studies

Despite leading in aerospace R&D, the U.S. faces policy-based challenges that hinder its commercial space growth. If not addressed, these barriers may limit our ability to lead the next era of innovation.

Student Perspective:

A special segment will discuss how rigid regulations in countries like Ecuador stifled digital progress and what the U.S. can learn from it.
